Ride The Waves Of Patriotism Across America

Patriotism, also referred to as prideful love for one’s country, is a healthy feeling of loyalty, devoted love, support, and a deep desire to help others. These are only a few “quotable quotes” worth remembering.

“Patriotism is not short frenzied outbursts of emotion, but the tranquil and steady dedication of a  lifetime”

Adlai  Stevenson 11

“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants”

Thomas Jefferson

“My dream is of a place and a time when America will once again be seen as the last best hope on earth.”

Abraham Lincoln

“This nation will remain the land of the free only as long as it is the home of the brave.”

Clarence Darrow

“If I have to lay an egg for this country, I’ll do it.”

Bob Hope

“The patriotic volunteer, fighting for his country’s rights, makes the most reliable soldier on earth.”

Stonewall Jackson

“Patriotism is easy to understand in America. It means looking out for yourself by looking out for your country.”

Calvin Coolidge

“If I were to live my life over again, I would be an American. I would steep myself in America. I would know no other land.”

 Henry James

“We live at a time of conflict — external and internal— when we sometimes concentrate too much on what divides us. Today, fly the Stars and Stripes with pride and confidence that what unites us is far stronger.”

Charlie Dent

“Let’s give some substance to patriotism, it may take a generation.”

Richard Dreyfuss

“I don’t have heroes, exactly, but I do have people I hold in high respect. Ronald Reagon, for example, stood for ideals that have value; integrity, patriotism, and a fundamental belief in goodness and the capabilities of mankind.”

 Diane Hendricks

“If you really want to see a show of pure country love of the land, take in a rodeo.”

Debbie Gaetano

Proverbs 28:2

When a land transgresses, it has many rulers, but with a man of understanding and knowledge, its stability will long continue.

Patriotism is what inspires us. It unites us. It fills our hearts with pride and optimism. And sometimes it brings us to tears. Simple but poignant acts of American patriotism occur every day, sometimes every minute, while too many go unnoticed. They rarely attract headlines but these actions are what strengthen the core of this great nation — and teach what love of country really means. To lose it would be a downright shame.

The change we hunger for lies within all of us.

Blessing my dear friends,

Drake

Excellent!!! I believe patriotism is an attitude! We need to respect and nourish and show our gratitude for this wonderful country that we live in. Re: my dad came to this country as a young man. He was a shoemaker by trade and found work at Daniel Green Shoe Co. and he retired from there! What loyalty he had to his job!! He also went to night school to learn the English language because he did not want to be the one that everyone was trying to understand!! He became a citizen of the USA as soon as he could and wore a suit and tie just to go vote!! He was so proud to be an American. He went on to serve in the Army in WWII in the European theater. He was the epitome of patriotism and a great example to all. His prize possessions, besides his family, were his bible and the American flag! God bless America 🇺🇸
