Forging A Unifying Sense of Patriotism Across America
Patriotism is not the waving of a flag. It’s not blind trust in anything our leaders tell us to do, nor is it just showing up to vote. It’s about freedom — understanding it, living it, teaching it, and supporting those who are educating others about its principles. It’s what makes life worth living, worth fighting for, and worth dying for. To put our lives, fortunes, and sacred honor on the line, and to always hold dearly onto the wisdom that our Founding Fathers put to pen in 1776; premier among these the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It’s an effort to live up to a better version of the past history that America says about itself. Never cease to feel the rush when watching Old Glory flapping in the wind no matter how far today’s generations have departed from the true and sacred meaning of those stars and stripes because freedom doesn’t come without sacrifice, it often comes with an exorbitant price to pay.
